to accept the things I cannot change
the courage to change the things I can
and the wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time
Enjoying one moment at a time
accepting hardship as a pathway to peace;
taking as Jesus did, this sinful world as it is,
not as I would have it:
Trusting that You will make all things right
if I surrender to Your will;
so that I may be reasonably happy in this life
"The Lord is my strength, my shield from every danger. I trust in Him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy..."
Psalm 28:7 NLT
~
God never promised me a rose garden, but as I continue to put one foot in front of the other...and seek His will in every decision, I find a contented satisfaction, even a contended delight in living life on life's terms.

Hi Pam,
The scripture that comes to mind today is "The joy of the Lord is my strength." That kind of joy is the kind that is present no matter what the circumstances, truly a gift from the Lord.
