Serenity

The Serenity Prayer guides me into right thinking when I struggle with the ebb and flow of life. Scripture affirmations reinforce the truth that sets me free one day at a time.

"All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It straightens us out and teaches us to do what is right. It is God's way of preparing us in every way, fully equipped for every good thing God wants us to do."
(2 Timothy 4:16-17 NLT)

God grant me the serenity

"Don't worry about anything, instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. If you do this, you will experience God's peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7, NLT)
~~~
Serenity is a gift for certain! I wish that I could say that it was easy for me to accept God's will and not worry, but I have to work on this every day. Some days are better than others. It helps me to memorize Scripture and the focus on the Serenity Prayer, too.
God grant me the serenity.... I am going to meditate on that today.
I do know that God wants me to be happy, joyous and free, and I CAN be if I let go of my fears and trust Him!
Awesome stuff! Thanks, I love the break down of the prayer that helps so much and having verses to go with it is a treat.
